Our small business, based in Seattle, WA, was founded in 2019 when we noticed a serious shortage of modern, sustainable cleaning options for the home and personal care. Aiming to create innovative and easy-to-use solutions for your home, we established the company.

As avid users of ethical products, we saw a pattern—products rooted in back to basics which are hard to use. In 2019, we started to make new products that don't compromise on "good for the planet" and easy to use.

Our toilet strips are packed in 100% recyclable, FSC certified cardboard pouches. Extremely small and lightweight, they are low profile and super easy to store. Ditching the sticky liquid, our strips provide a better way to clean your toilet.

Our strips undergo no animal testing and are cruelty-free. That, in addition to being vegan, carbon negative, fragrance-free, plastic-free, and dye-free, sets them apart. Our auditors at Clean Earth Collective analyzed our complete supply chain, including manufacturing, freight shipping, and shipping direct to your door. We then buffered that value by 30% and doubled it to achieve a carbon negative status for every Lazy Coconuts product.

Small changes in product size and weight lead to lower carbon emissions. We created Compact by Design to identify products that, while they may not always look very different, have a more efficient design. With the removal of excess air and water, products require less packaging and become more efficient to ship. At scale, these small differences in product size and weight lead to significant carbon emission reductions.

Our toilet strips provide a DEEP CLEAN with natural lemon and tea tree essential oils, leaving your toilet clean and fresh. They are SEPTIC SAFE, as the sheets are 100% biodegradable and safe for your septic system. The packaging is 100% FSC certified cardboard, sourced from sustainable sources, and the strips are earth-friendly, biodegradable, and plastic-free. Lazy Coconuts eco-friendly products are designed with a low carbon footprint in mind, and what we can't eliminate, we offset x2 to achieve carbon negative status. Each pack is extremely thin (~0.6") and easy to store, and when you need to clean, simply tear a strip and drop it in. Better than tablets and pods!
